The former UFC welterweights are scheduled to collide in a 10-round, 175-pound rematch at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on Saturday, July 6. The highly anticipated rematch will be broadcast on [broadcast platform].
In their first meeting at UFC 244 in November 2019, Diaz swung early but Masvidal quickly turned the aggressor, eventually winning by TKO in the third round. This time around, both fighters are expected to be more prepared for each other's styles and are promising to put on a show for the fans.
Masvidal has been on a tear since his win over Diaz, knocking out Darren Till and Ben Askren in impressive fashion. Diaz, meanwhile, has not fought since his loss to Masvidal but has been training hard for the rematch.
