East Carolina Pirates Set to Tip-Off 2023-24 Season

Pirates to Face Challenging Non-Conference Slate

The East Carolina University (ECU) Pirates men's basketball team is gearing up for the start of the 2023-24 season, which promises to be an exciting one for fans. The Pirates, led by head coach Michael Schwartz, will face a challenging non-conference schedule that includes games against some of the top teams in the country.

Non-Conference Schedule Highlights

The Pirates' non-conference schedule features a number of marquee matchups, including a home game against the North Carolina Tar Heels on December 10th. ECU will also travel to face the Duke Blue Devils on December 16th and the Tennessee Volunteers on December 21st. The Pirates will also participate in the Charleston Classic tournament, where they will face off against The College of Charleston, UMass, and Hofstra.

In addition to their non-conference slate, the Pirates will also compete in the American Athletic Conference (AAC). The AAC is one of the top basketball conferences in the country, and the Pirates will face stiff competition from the likes of Houston, Memphis, and Cincinnati.
